UBC Midwifery is establishing a new five-year plan. Pursuing alignment on critical program focuses to drive our mission forward, re-vitalizing the program.
Strategic planning work started earlier this year with stakeholder feedback and audits culminating with in person strategic planning work days in late May.
What we worked on.
- Defining the changing trends which may impact the Midwifery Program in the next four years.
- Identifying the most significant internal strengths and weaknesses, and the external opportunities and threats to be addressed in the upcoming strategic plan.
- Identifying the strategic priorities for the Midwifery Program.
And, of course, so much more. We are working to better serve the diverse needs of the communities we serve.
