Oral Probiotics in Pregnancy Study

The OPSiP study is looking to see if 3 specific probiotics taken orally in pregnancy from 25 weeks gestation have the ability to reduce the chance of pregnant individuals being colonized with Group B streptococcus (GBS) bacteria. This is a placebo controlled, blinded randomized controlled trial taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia and is now open for recruitment. Please see the OPSiP website for details and to find out if you are eligible.
