Instructional Assistant IEMBP
Rosie is the Instructional Assistant for the Internationally Educated Midwives Bridging Program (IEMBP). She is responsible for responding to inquiries from prospective students about the program and application and providing essential administrative support to current students and faculty.
Before joining UBC, she worked in various roles in the field of education as a teacher, education consultant, and admissions coordinator. She has always found great joy and satisfaction working in this field, where every day presents an opportunity to support learners and educators and to be inspired by them. Rosie is also a proud alumna of UBC, where she studied for 6 years and earned a B.A. degree in Psychology and an M.Ed. degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. Her time as a student at UBC was incredibly formative, and she is excited to now contribute professionally to the institution. Outside work, she enjoys reading, travelling, and learning new languages to explore and connect with the world.
