International Confederation of Midwives 33rd ICM Triennial Congress – Bali, Indonesia
Faculty and staff were able to attend the first International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) since COVID. The theme for the 2023 Congress, Together Again: from Evidence to Reality. The UBC Midwifery booth was very busy! Many old and new connections were made, and important conversations about the profession and the international midwifery community were had.

Allison Campbell Awarded Doctoral Fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council
We are thrilled to announce that our Associate Professor of Teaching and undergrad program lead, Dr. Allison Campbell, has been honoured with a prestigious Doctoral Fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
