UNESCO: Midwifery must be preserved

Midwifery has been entered into UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritages that must be preserved. International Confederation of Midwives 33rd ICM Triennial Congress – Bali, Indonesia

Faculty and staff were able to attend the first International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) since COVID. The theme for the 2023 Congress, Together Again: from Evidence to Reality. Allison Campbell Awarded Doctoral Fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council

Congratulations to Lorna McRae, and Drs. Cecilia Jevitt and Bill Rowe on the publication of their chapter, “Perinatal Substance Use Disorders,” in the 4th edition of The Oppression of Addiction. 

Drs. Jevitt and Rowe published the original chapter from the United States.
