Simone Longpré has a long career in post secondary education including instructing in the UBC School of Kinesiology Undergraduate program for 13 years, and initiating and managing a Co-operative Education Program in Kinesiology for 12 years. Simone was highly active in the UBC and provincial Co-op and Work Integrated Leaning (WIL) community including working on a variety of UBC and provincial Co-op/WIL projects. After leaving UBC in 2021 she taught in the Langara Post Degree Diploma Program and also in the Co-operative Education Program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
Simone has a passion for student career development and career education. She is now enjoying working with the Clinical Placement Team in Midwifery and brings her years of experience facilitating student practicum experiences to support Midwifery students in their clinical placements.
