Dr. Hale practices in Kimberley, BC and is a member of the Family Medicine Clinician Scholar Program. She presented her research on parent perceptions of obesity prevention during infancy and her RAISE (Raising Infants to be Smart Eaters) pilot study. Dr. Jevitt presented her research describing perinatal outcomes for women with obese BMIs receiving care at free-standing birth centers in the US from 2012 to 2016. Dr. Hale and Dr. Jevitt are brainstorming ways to support each other’s obesity research.
