Dear UBC Midwifery Program Students, Staff & Faculty,
Please join us for our inaugural Midwifery Student Association (MSA) event, our Social Soiree & Annual General Meeting, on Tuesday September 5th at 4pm. We will have a cocktail & appetizer soiree from 4-6pm, which all students, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend. Following this, we will be holding a student-only Annual General Meeting from 6-8pm, which we hope all midwifery students can attend!
For midwifery students, tickets for the event will be $10 at the door, and will include your MSA membership fees for the 2017-2018 year, plus 2 drink tickets and a plethora of appetizers. If the fee causes any financial hardship, please email the MSA (email@example.com) to discuss, as we hope for all students to be able to attend this event. For program staff and faculty, we ask you to join us for mingling, drinks and appetizers from 4-6pm, and will have $5 tickets for drinks and food by donation.
For those needing childcare, we are able to provide child minding services if necessary. When RSVP-ing, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org that includes your need for child care, how many children, and their ages. Though adorable kids are allowed, we ask for this to be a midwifery program-only event and for you to leave your (equally adorable) partners at home 🙂
